Should I really feel bad for people so stupid they actually paid money to attend a place called Trump University? It probably shows that deep down, I’m a bad person, but in the end, I just don’t care about dopes who laid out thousands to sit in some conference room at the Holiday Inn and hear some sleaze bag talk about making money in real estate.

The only problem is I probably need another 1000-1500 words to sell this crap. I'm going to work in an angle about Pine Bluff and rising sea levels I think.

It's infrastructure week when we learn about how the US will slash budgets to drive private investment in roads, air traffic control, etc. your taxes will be low, but you will pay untold amounts to get anywhere. Goods will be subject to this secret tax too, making these more expensive at the bottom line. What will privatized air traffic control cost, and how are these funds recouped?

Below is a picture of HOT lanes carved out of 495 in VA. That toll in December was $29.25 for ~12 miles of driving, and if you took the 37 or so total route to Stafford by using the 95 south lanes, 8t would have been almost $65! $65 one way. These are tolls that change to market demand, whochis how bad the traffic is outside the lanes.

People did have, and took the options of sitting in traffic. Imagine if you took this at the bargin price of $40 round trip, that is still going to put you around $8500 annual post tax dollars. How will that help people's personal economies? Oklahoma don't care about your first world problems.

*** Here is a crazy side note, when the HOT lane tolls are high, that means traffic is bad on the toll lanes too, so that payment also equates to get stuck paying for getting stuck. It is supposed to qbe a fence to keep you out.

looks like etched's initial reaction was correct. Why should we expect anything less from that POS. (the SCROTUS, not etched).

After taking criticism online for trying to use the attack to advance a policy goal that is now under review in the courts, he sent a follow-up tweet minutes later: “Whatever the United States can do to help out in London and the U. K., we will be there — WE ARE WITH YOU. GOD BLESS!”

Conservative foundations have bank-rolled denial. The largest and most consistent funders of organizations orchestrating climate change denial are a number of well-known conservative foundations, such as the Searle Freedom Trust, the John William Pope Foundation, the Howard Charitable Foundation and the Sarah Scaife Foundation. These foundations promote ultra-free-market ideas in many realms.

Koch and ExxonMobil have recently pulled back from publicly visible funding. From 2003 to 2007, the Koch Affiliated Foundations and the ExxonMobil Foundation were heavily involved in funding climate-change denial organizations. But since 2008, they are no longer making publicly traceable contributions.

Funding has shifted to pass through untraceable sources. Coinciding with the decline in traceable funding, the amount of funding given to denial organizations by the Donors Trust has risen dramatically. Donors Trust is a donor-directed foundation whose funders cannot be traced. This one foundation now provides about 25% of all traceable foundation funding used by organizations engaged in promoting systematic denial of climate change.

Most funding for denial efforts is untraceable. Despite extensive data compilation and analyses, only a fraction of the hundreds of millions in contributions to climate change denying organizations can be specifically accounted for from public records. Approximately 75% of the income of these organizations comes from unidentifiable sources.
