The problem with Trump telling info our allies told us is that liberals are mad about it so that means I should think it's a fine thing to do and certainly not something I have ever said was a bad thing to do in the past.

This goes with the opinion piece I posted earlier. Every position they hold is simply being counter to what 'liberals' hold or think about a situation. They've taken their anti-obama position and simply turned it into anti-anti-trump

Yeah, I think that might betray deep doubts from those folks, though. When their main pleasure is that he's "trolling" it says they aren't wildly pleased with too much else.

In an interview with The Daily Caller on Sunday, Coulter said she still has hope in Trump, but she is ready to jump ship if things don't change.

"I’m not very happy with what has happened so far," Coulter said. "I guess we have to try to push him to keep his promises. But this isn’t North Korea, and if he doesn’t keep his promises, I’m out. This is why we voted for him. I think everyone who voted for him knew his personality was grotesque, it was the issues."

She explained that Trump ran as a master negotiator who would drain the Washington, D.C., swamp, but she hasn't seen him follow through on enough of his campaign promises.

"My fingers are still crossed. It’s not like I’m out yet, but boy, things don’t look good," Coulter said.

She added that she won't apologize for supporting Trump during the election, because he said all the right things on the campaign trail and because there was no better option.

She said she is afraid now that "the Trump-haters were right," which she said would be a "nightmare."

I'm sure republicans could come up with a similar list for dem presidents

Both sides do it. Thank you.

you know my view of the GOP, but the Dems are basically only good in comparison. Billy C with the deregulation of the banks & the telecommunications industry and of course his cruel reform of the criminal justice system make for a pretty poor legacy. Obama oversaw military conflicts on 7 fronts, and dropped 26,000 bombs in 2016.

I'm not sure the number of bombs tells us much of anything, fwiw. We've essentially been air support for our allies in Syria and Iraq while fighting isis, os of course that's what we'll do.

tells me that he ordered 10X the drone strikes of W, he fought more active fronts than any president since Truman & he dropped more bombs than any period in US history since Vietnam/Cambodia. also taught me that the American public including leftists like you don't really care.

not really; i probably care as much as anyone on this board, though perhaps you don't view it that way. i really don't have to justify anything to you, in actuality. my opinions have been pretty clearly defined on here for years and years. i don't think we should be doing anything other than fighting isil the way we were, and i certainly wouldn't be providing air support in yemen. but whatever, believe whatever you want about me.

are you disagreeing with how the war is waged or that we're waging the war? it's really not clear. if we've decided to fight isil in the manner we are then of course the number of bombs will be higher since that's the way we are doing it. the dropping of bombs or drone strikes is a tactic and not in and of itself showing us whether the war he waged was good or bad. tactics can be good or bad, and he chose to forgo the idea of ground troops for the most part. do you dislike drones because they are drones or do you dislike how they are used? me, it's the latter. i dislike signature strikes. how should we be fighting isil on the military front?

I haven't really seen any of our military interventions in the Middle East as being helpful going back to the early 1800s, so primarily my main issue is fighting untenable wars where each solved problem leads to 3 new problems. the acceleration of strikes seems to me a cruel & pointless exercise. if I were running the military, and I needed to win a conflict while minimizing our casualties, I'd see drones as effective, but when you're fighting on 7 fronts and the citizenry doesn't care, largely because the US casualties are minimal, I do see that as a very troubling, morally worrisome precedent that Obama set.

WH comms staffers just put the TVs on super loud after we could hear yelling coming from room w/ Bannon, Spicer, Sanders

unfortunately george w bush and company broke the region and we are now tethered to iraq's security due to what we did, or else i'd be with you for the most part. Doing the great thing to save the yazidis actually got us back in after we had almost gotten out.

we are committing completely self-inflicted wounds in yemen and backing a bad regime's proxy war. syria is going to end horribly, and i'm not sure there's any good way out, tbh.

I'd legitimately forgotten for a few seconds that Sarah Huckabee's married name was Sanders and was mentally cataloging who Bannon and Spicer might be yelling at. I chose the ghost of Col. Sanders and Bernie Sanders as my two favorite options.

Not the response I expected from McCain

Yeh, usually his response is to talk tough and then toe the company line when it's time to vote.

In fairness to McMaster, he is still in the military and is required to do what the president says, unless it is against the law. So he could have been ordered to tell that lie about the WaPo article. It's weird that he was the one sent out there, though I guess it was military/intelligence related.

Either way, there goes another career due to being tied to this Trump craziness. How many more will self immolate?

And where are the GOPers willing to resign or stand up? We really are lost if nobody is willing to do what's right and put country over party.
