I used to go to the haircutting school on Bainbridge and get a free cut. I think I gave a 5 dollar tip.

On a $28 charge I'll give $35 and think that's fine. And I know how to wash my own hair.

That said, if it were $30 I'd probably tip ten. But if it were $30 I'd go someplace else.

sucks dropping 35 bucks on a haircut but the difference in quality is noticeable and lets you go longer without having to get another haircut. and I usually get a free beer in the pricier spots

three times in the past three weeks i've dropped my wallet in a store and gone back and someone had turned it in. THREE TIMES.

Aside from my incredible carelessness and luck in 3 honest people finding it, I've got to get one of these tracking devices I have working and put it in the wallet.

And in none of those times did I even need my actual wallet and instead used Samsung Pay.

Get a chain wallet and look like a tough guy.

On the hair cut point, I don't want to be patronizing, he gave me his cell and told me to text him whenever I need a touch up and not worry about paying. Thing is, I know they are struggling financially and I wanna take care of the dude and their family, they are real good people and the work he does is top notch. I'd pay $30 each for me and my son no problem, but when I try to go be the extra cash he won't take it.
