I'm happy to hear it, and glad she has access. All I'm saying is I think it should be treated like other medications, both in having restrictions lifted and in taking steps to insure it's prescribed to those who need it. (Yes, I realize other medications are over or incorrectly prescribed).
The question of recreational use should be split off from this. I don't have any problem with people who want to toke up in their bedrooms or a public park for that matter. Just don't shroud in a feigned, or worse internalized, self-righteousness.

I think I probably have more faith than you do in it's healing & pain killing capabilities, but I agree there's some silly stuff out there. There's a whole show on VICE that's dedicated to some really spurious weed "science."
