So this latest round of attacks on Obama is supposed to bolster the "previous unemployment numbers were fake but our first reported round of numbers are 100% real" story line, correct?

in the latest in my personal grievances with Glenn Greenwald, he's all over the media saying he does think the CIA was involved in the election, and it was some sort of proxy war between them and the FBI. he's saying this despite a complete lack of evidence. what Wikileaks released last week is certainly interesting, but for any of us that have been paying attention, it's certainly not new. Our intelligence agencies using our technology to spy on us has been an active conversation for a couple decades now, amplified with the internet. So he's willing to say he thinks that the CIA was involved, despite no relevant evidence, and out the other side of his mouth he's still the same drunken loon that will raise a hissy fit for hours citing the lack of evidence if someone even suggests there was some sort of Russian involvement in the election. Something is wrong with that nut.

He's exposed himself as a fraud at this point. He's accepted as fact something that has no evidence, after previously stating this was the case w Russia and emails, etc. If anything all that's been exposed is how inept the CIA is.

At least he's a decent writer. Michael Tracey has the smugness of Greenwald without ever uncovering anything on his own or writing about it in an interesting manner.

Both of these guys pick and choose the leaks they want to believe and project motives onto said leaks but then do no investigating into the leaks.

He's the guess on Pod Save the World this Wednesday... should be interesting.

In the case of the space cadets, the majority of the GOP still thinks Obama is a foreign agent, Muslim, whatever, and there's literally a cult of personality in the millions that support Trump, who elected Trump. The conservatives that you're talking about still exist, but they are the same ones that laid the foundational framework for the crazies. Charles Murray & the National Review are just more erudite versions of these maroons.
