Of course you feel that way. It's uncanny

wonder woman good:
[Reveal] Spoiler:
gal gadot, chris pine, the main fight scene, some humor was good

wonder woman bad:
[Reveal] Spoiler:
evil lupin, lame supporting cast, the hero killing himself to save everyone, gratuitous slow motion and some weird lingering shots of people
id still give it like 3.5/5 stars.

I watched some movies last night!

I loved Paterson. I was never bored and laughed out loud at a few parts; it touched on aspects of being in a relationship I haven't really seen on the screen, defied expectations at crucial turns (not that I was ever that worried that Jarmusch would turn it into a dognapping caper) and left me all hart-warmed. glad to see swish and grote liked it, too

later on when I couldn't sleep I watched Bright. thought it was pretty solid, though I wouldn't recommend it unless you share my masochistic urge to watch this type of hollywood action thriller. I probably shouldn't grade these things on such a curve but it had a comprehensible structure which is enough to put it above stuff like Suicide Aquad off the bat and wasn't as aggressively dumb as, say, Jurassic World. front-loading two of the worst moments, the opening graffiti through the credits (whose nephew got that design job?) and the fairy scene, probably put a lot of viewers into hate-watching mode off the bat, but I thought the setting was fun and interesting. not really sure why some critics seemed to be looking for ground-breaking insights into American race relations. it all runs out of steam by the end but there's worse stuff to throw on late at night
