I found a couple of freezer burned steaks in the back of the freezer. I had an older friend who knew an antidote for about everything once tell me there was away you can make it not only edible, but tasty. I've searched online and they said to slice it off. I think my friend said something about a marinade with vinegar, soda or juice that will burn it off. Unfortunately he is no longer with us and wondering if anyone knows what he was talking about.
A marinade will help reintroduce the lost moisture, but I don't know that there's much of anything you can do to fix the texture. Cut it up and make chili or stew.

Holy crap, there was this guy in my Old Testament class in college who quoted the James Brown song in class as backup for his sexism. We were talking about whether women could be near the temple or not, and he led off class discussion by saying, "In the words of the Godfather of Soul, It's a Man's Man's Man's World. Deal with it." This spurred name calling and all kinds of stuff that was rather uncomfortable, especially for freshman year me who was painfully shy.
I always thought he was just kind of crazy. His first name was Ron and other students in the class jokingly called him "Wrong".
Long story short, Ron got kicked out of the University for being physically intimidating to the professor of that class, a genius named Karla who was also my faculty advisor for my four years of college. I didn't find out until the next year, when she had all of her advisees at her house and I brought his name up as a joke, as in, "How about we get Ron Coleman here?" Karla's face went white as a sheet and she told her story. I felt like such a heel. She understood, I had no idea, but it explained why nobody saw him on campus after that semester.

I'm home sick for the 2nd day in a row. I went to work on Tuesday, but probably shouldn't have as I'm pretty sure I had a fever then (had a deadline and working from the office is easier and less frustrating than at home). Everything hurts and I can't get comfortable. I think it is Ebola and I'm going to die.
pretty done with sports for the foreseeable future. I'll probably tune in to a few Phillies games but other than Tottenham I'm not even remotely interested in investing energy into any of my teams
