Kopp comes across a little sweet on himself but has insights imo

Good one with Birbigs

Aziz was excellent Friday, as was Hannibal Buress opening for him. The Michael Jackson impersonator that opened the show, though, was a little fucking weird.

I think I've mentioned in this thread about the time I bought tickets to Birbiglia's Carnegie Hall show, then totally forgot about it and missed the show.

Not one of my best moments.

Well yesterday, I was walking around Brooklyn with my girlfriend and was telling her that whenever I get junk email from Carnegie Hall it reminds me of my fuckup and makes me feel like an idiot.

About 10 seconds later, a dude crossed the street and started walking in front of us.

It was Mike Birbiglia.

Our minds were blown.

We walked behind him for a few block but didn't say anything to him.

Dude! You should have said hi. Feel like if you connected you could have been pals. He is big time but really only among his loyal fans.

What's he doing these days? Still modern romance?

Just picked up tickets for Mulaney at the Troc and John Oliver at the Tower. Haven't seen either live before, so should be fun.

Mulaney's great live. I've seen him a few times but I first saw him in 2006 in front of about 25 people. He was really polished even back then. Did lots of Law & Order stuff.

Speaking of that venue (Union Hall in Brooklyn), I saw Kyle Kinane there a couple weeks ago. He killed.

Haven't watched his sitcom but it looks horrendous.
