Using Hoegaarden is a nice twist on beer batter.

There's methods for freezing eggs but I never tried it.

For something brunch-like a german pancake or dutch baby. Google America's Test Kitchen video for a decent recipe.

More entree-like:
Pizza frittata or something like this https://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/chi ... os-strata/

but if you haven't, oh my!

My mom used to make that for me for some weekend breakfasts. Have a hard time trying to find it in restaurants.

Same here!

I tried doing a homemade yeast starter, and it started off well and then fizzled (or rather, stopped fizzling?). Probably should try again... maybe it was too warm? I kept it in the over-the-range microwave with the range light on...

I have a few friends who have done it for the first time over the past month. Seemed like a mized bag in terms of success, but most were able to get it on their second try. I've never done it, but I just bought the Baker's Companion, or something like that. It's a really nice book on breadmaking with recipes, etc. I really want to learn.

Made an indian fish stew with tumeric last night. I've been really craving indian food and I finally got the needed spices. First time trying the recipe, made up off the top of my head, and it was REALLY good. I'm sure part of it was because I was in the mood for it, but it turned out nice. The coconut milk smoothed out all the flavors and I felt like I could run through a wall afterwards.

I tried this one today. Had the takeout taste to me. Dude grew up in a Chinese restaurant. https://thewoksoflife.com/classic-pork-fried-rice/

I hit a new pr running today, so I decided to make homemade chick-fil-a spicy sandwiches to celebrate. On a Sunday no less!
