This is fast, absurdly easy, and the stuff is like crack. Here in TX you can buy a bag of "pork for carnitas" but a shoulder or butt would be just fine.

It tastes so good because all the fat stays in.

I'm intrigued, but the recipe I posted is so perfect that I hesitate to change anything (although I do leave out the jalepeno)

I actually did this one last night (includes OJ): https://www.pressurecookrecipes.com/instant-pot-carnitas/

Turned out great! The broil at the end is huge.

Yeah, I did slow cooker ones over the weekend. The broil was definitely huge. Vacuumed sealed about 5 pounds for the freezer.

Damn looks great! Gonna make a burrito with mine today. I need to pickle some onions and jalapenos.

I got bored on my noon call and made a quick no knead dough during it.

I like Kerrygold and use it all the time, but Bordier absolutely changed the butter game for me.
At like 30 bucks a pound it goddamn better.

It didn’t cost that much in Paris...or London...I thought it was like under 5 Euro for a package that was about the size of a Kerrygold box.

Hell I wouldn’t buy 30 buck a pound butter either.

Hook up the recipe. My kids are definitely into baking so that’s an hour I don’t feel like killing them

Dunno if you can get to a Costco but Kerrygold is pretty reasonable there

Getting to a Costco isn't a problem here. Getting into a Costco on the other hand...

I've done the Brave tart ones a few times and the bottom always ends up leaking and burning. You think that's just me being too aggressive on the fill and them leaking when they roll?
