I watched a few youtubes of it, and pulled some stuff that I liked from each. This was very much an inexact science.

For chicken, I used two large chicken breasts and pounded to about 1/2 inch. I then brined it in a cup of water, cup of pickle juice, 2 teaspoons of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of salt. I let it sit for a couple hours, but i'm sure the longer the better. After removing from the brine, I rubbed on some trader joe's seasoning salt.

Wet ingredients were two eggs and milk battered.

For the breading, I used 1 cup flour and 2 heaping tablespoons of sugar. After that, I eyeballed salt, pepper, garlic powder, and a good amount of paprika.

I only had canola oil for frying. Used 1 cup. Cooked at 350 for 5 minutes on one side and probably a little less on the other side.

Of course, you need to butter and lightly toast those buns. Add as many pickles as you desire.

Thanks. Putting it on my list.

Trying to cut back after my fried food binge so I made pan pizza today.

My wife has a really good Chick-fil-A copy cat recipe, I’ll get it from her an post it as well, but I think it’s pretty close to Pratt’s. The key is in the pickle juice

I've done 450 as well, but these just turned out perfect the first time i did them so i'm sticking with it. They were crispy as hell.

My 53 night streak of cooking ends tomorrow. we are ordering chinese

Crab rolls are easy to make and delicious. Didnt think I could stand that more than a thumbnail of mayo.

I usually do my wings in the air fryer. If I do them in the oven, I set it at 350 and flip them every five minutes. It takes a while and is labor intensive but fun and worth it.

I know I use SE for basically everything and these wings take some planning but they're almost as good as fried.

The're real easy, just take some baking powder, some fridge space, and some time.

Feeling really good about this loaf I'm making. 17 percent dark rye flour. Can't wait to bake it tomorrow. Feels good in the hands man.
