that article is so preposterous. the guy himself is clearly the biggest "hipster" in the room
“I grew up in City Gardens,” DePula, a Steinert grad, said. “I lived there from 8th, 9th grade through college. Killing Joke, The Exploited … but I realize I can’t play Napalm Death in the restaurant.”

But he will play New Order, 80s alternative, ska, stuff from the new soul movement, stuff that’s “higher energy and … doesn’t sound like someone kneeling on the ground and crying.”

definitely has High Fidelity on blu-ray

There's no way a Pizza Hut pizza looks that good.

More seriously--was that Pizza Hut itself, or Yum! brands, of which Pizza Hut is a small part.

Naw.

But Mrs. TP took the photo. Sally's Apizza, New Haven.

Was going to say that looked a lot like Frank Pepe's in New Haven. Never been to Sally's since they're not open for lunch.

Red Star Craft House - Exton

Another Dave McGrogan joint

Nice atmosphere, good service, good beer selection, awesome $7 c0cktails for the ladies.

Food was OK. Signature "Smokehouse Burger" was overcooked - and served on a day-old roll.

Shrimp lettuce wraps - nice mango component, but overly sweet sauce and yet dominated by raw green peppers

Wood-fired Neapolitan pizza - great flavors, but undercooked and over-cheesed. Same FAIL as at Barra Rossa in Dtown.

Does the insult outweigh the urge to eat the pizza?

Superb Neapolitan at La Brea Bakery in Downtown Disney, Anaheim.

I got "Eggs in a Nest" personal pizza at breakfast.

They also serve wonderful Silverback Rwandan coffee.

A+

Had to produce proof that I have gay friends before they would serve me. Seemed fair.

The Couch Tomato Cafe in West Chester was disappointing.
Nice space, good flavor for the toppings, but Domino's-quality crust. Flavorless with no character.
BYOB with rooftop deck and full of college girls, could be sundresses.

Anybody been to the original in Manayunk?

yeah, sounds identical to the one in Manayunk. Good beer list though.

We had La Brea on our trip to Disneyland last year. Great stuff.

Got the 2-for-$20 takeout from LaPorta.

Chose a $14 special with roast pork and tuna, and a $13 Salsiccia.

Got them unsliced. Overheated them for 10 minutes at 425 on oven rack to the point where the crust was dry and crunchy in the thinner areas. STILL they tasted wonderful.

Generally not keen about fish on pizza but this thing really worked.

Best pizza still, and best value, in the Western Burbs.

First time ordering pizza in the new neighborhood. Scallopine Pie from Francoluigi's. It was great.

Francoluigi's is so good. best place to have as your go-to spot. we're kinda spoiled for pizza

when I was in CC, Slice was the best spot available, down here it barely cracks the rotation

Shockingly good NY-style slice from the Ft Lauderdale outpost of Pittsburgh's Primanti Bros:
