The quote from the FBI cited doesn't even have anything to do with the lede or headline. The helicopter incident was widely reported, but no connection to Boston made. Was Tsarnaev even killed by the FBI instead of police? And why am I writing anything at all about this?

I'm pretty much never offended by that sort of thing, but that's awful.

I get the idea of a controversial cover, but they just pissed on some dead people and amputees. I hope everyone involved in that cover loses their job today.

pretty sure that would be the whole staff. there is no way the lead editor and all the higher ups didnt know. they were the ones that gave it the ok.
