If so, yet another desperation move by Torre this series.

It'll be a very different story for Padilla Wednesday night. Crowd will be all over him right away. He'll need a 175 of vodka just to make it through the third inning.

Seriously, if Padilla beats the Phils in Game 5, he is looking at a 5yr/$100million deal from the Mets

More reason for him to be nervous as all hell.

Might be worth it...

I got my Phillies nesting dolls out. The big Thome one is crying in the corner in two pieces. Abreu is off on his own studying Sabathia video. Burrell and Lieberthal are smiling as they watch me stimulate my nipples with the nubby little Jimmy Rollins figure. Oh yeah!

Leslie said the usually friendly Jim Thome didn't look up and acknowledge anyone with the phone to his ear...

Got back a little bit ago. Holy f'n cripes. What a game. I think someone elbowed or punched me in the face in my section during JRoll's hit because people were going that nuts. The closest I've ever seen to that kind of pandemonium was Victorino's slam off of Sabathia last year, but this killed it. I gotta go back to the game thread now.

Even Thome's gone Hollywood. Can't wait to see his offseason commercial with Joe Torre.

I am still going nuts. My heart is still racing. This is insane. Broxton just quivers in fear at the sight of red pinstripes
