If you ignore the fact that Webb was basically out of baseball before his 30's, had half the career ip as Doc and only managed 6 full seasons.

So? Webb fell apart at the seams by 28, Doc is 34 now, that's not a valid comparison of pitchers.

Ohmagerd Webb is finished and Doc's amazing, we should trade for him.

We should try to hold onto that D'Arnaud kid if we can though, I think his value might really shoot up the charts by 2013.

Unprompted, Roy Halladay just spoke for eight minutes because he wanted to “apologize” to fans upset that he kept pitching. Very heartfelt.

Remarkable event. Doc just apologized to fans for letting them down and thanked them for support. He sought out reporters.

Now someone just needs to apologize to him about those fans.

Roy Halladay just came out and issued an apology to the fans for his injury, performance etc. Was not expecting that.

Called an impromptu press conference. Said if he paid $60 for that last game and Phils were down 9-0 in the 2nd, he'd be angry.

JSalisburyCSN
Halladay said his heart goes out to fans who pay good money then have to watch him get behind 9-0.

ryanlawrence21
Doc was told everyone likes him. His response: "If I paid $60 for tickets and the team was down 9-0 when I showed up, I wouldn't like me."

hmm

We didn't win a World Series but boy, 2010 and 2011 were two of the most fun seasons I've ever experienced in my life and much of that was due to Roy Halladay.
