Pain-wise, he's at a "3 or 4....pitched with worse"

Pitched with worse, says Game 5 injury hurt alot more. Only a 3 or 4 on the pain scale. Machine.

Problem is, even without pain, this was affecting his stuff and mechanics. The fact that it wasn't painful probably hurt him more in the long run.

that makes sense. i played for three months with a torn acl & pcl because the docs couldn't detect any structural damage to my knee with the standard clinical tests. they said it was due to the strength of my quads.

I'd like to be optimistic but the reality is that he's probably out for 3 months.

Sorry if I missed it but he has denied being hurt all year...so just like last year he was BS-ing everyone right? I mean he was pretty adamant he was healthy.

Also didn't he get an MRI last year? The bone spur didn't show up?

He was too strong. Wasn't really that painful and it didn't show up on previous tests.

It's not a painful injury. It was essentially silently causing damage for over a year, which is probably why he swore he was healthy.

It was minutely limiting his range of motion and mechanics, but wasn't causing pain.
