this is bad

Once the extension is complete, the Phillies are expected send three prospects to Toronto. A source identified those prospects as Drabek, outfielder Michael Taylor and catcher Travis D’Arnaud. The Blue Jays would also get a prospect from Seattle, possibly Canadian pitcher Phillippe Aumont. The Phillies could also end up with a prospect from Seattle. The Mariners are a key to the deal as they are expected to get Cliff Lee and his $9 million salary from the Phillies. The Phillies have a strict $140 million payroll so moving Lee appears to be a necessity.

I think Rube might be angling for Saunders in the deal for the Phillies.

He can play CF and hes played LF. Like Francisco. But he bats LH. So, maybe the Phillies decide that if they can't keep Werth, they'd use those two guys as a RF platoon in 2011.

I do not see any circumstance in which the Phillies will trade Lee, Drabek and either Taylor or Brown without receiving a substantial piece in addition to Halladay. A reliever isnt a substantial piece.

if we do trade drabek, taylor, d'arnaud and lee and only end up with halladay, ill join right in with the ripping of the deal. but i dont buy it for a second
