Halladay XII: Now with Roy Halladay!

Postby CFP » Mon Dec 14, 2009 21:30:18

Klaw says the Jays were going to draft D'Arnaud in '07. They had the 38th pick, we had 37 and took him.

Get a grip people. This shit takes time and patience. None of you nerds would be cut out for a GM position, except Jfly. But he'd gab on too much and all the other GMs would hang up on him

So the important thing for the Jays is to get Canadian-born players and those with French sounding names.

Got it.

Fox sources say that the deal is very complex, with the Blue Jays paying a portion of Halladay's $15.75 million salary for next season to make the deal work.

I'm starting to lean towards Blanton to Seattle, Taylor, Happ, D'Arnaud to Toronto, Halladay to us. And no idea on the Seattle prospects. We keep Lee.

Anyone listen to the FAN today? Heard Francesa on the way home, and it was like listening in on a wake. They've pretty much bailed on next season, all the fight has gone out of them.

I will say that if Toronto gets Taylor, D'Arnaud, Saunders, Aumont out of this, it's a pretty unreal turnaround and a nice job by Anthopolous. No way Ricciardi was smart enough to do that.

Ok, I can confirm that Aumont is not in the deal. So do with that what you want.
