It's gonna be tough since there is no one cause for this. Also, many kids damage their arms as amateurs so they are pretty much gonna blow out sometime in their pro career most likely.

Fernandez has really good mechanics, he didn't throw a lot of pitches or innings as a pro. He has a good build for a pitcher. And he went down anyway.

I guess he was sick before the game in which he hurt his elbow so that might be something.

There is some work being done on technology that can analyze a guys mechanics in real time. If a guy can monitor a pitcher's mechanics during a game and note when the dude starts losing his form, it might help.
Teams lie, sometimes for good reasons, sometimes for bad. They do it to get an advantage while they look at the trade market or just because they can

It's like I'm just waiting for this news to come down on Ventura from KC. Young? Throws hard? Promising? That's a-paddlin'

Good job Mose. Velo dropped to 90 tonight and he left mid third with the trainer.

Rotoworld wrote:Yordano Ventura will undergo an MRI Tuesday after exiting Monday's start versus the Astros with lateral elbow discomfort.
Uh oh. Ventura was tagged for five runs on seven hits and three walks over just 2 2/3 innings before leaving, and he hit only 91 mph with his fastball against his final hitter of the night. It's worth noting that the ulnar collateral ligament is on the medial and not the lateral side of the elbow. However, that doesn't necessarily mean Ventura doesn't have some ligament damage. We'll find out Tuesday.

Adam Wainwright getting an MRI today. He says that there aren't any ligament issues. Imaging machine says........
The results came back clean. Still he must be having some arm issues.

He is one of my favorites in my baseball. Will never reach HoF numbers but he is there with talent. Getting sick of fun pitchers getting f'd up.
Do it again!
