Yeah, I saw that and thought she was cooked after she dumped the volley. Won the set though...then got bageled. Sharapova had something like 36 unforced in the first two sets.

Well I think this is why they didn't release names. I figured someone would dig and figure it out though.

Oh, Kyrgios lost? Such a shame.

edit:

And was apparently his usual charming self.

Not without another bitchfest though.

Fed won his 300th career grand slam match.

100 unforced errors for Djokovic but still somehow wins.

Fed says Tomic hasn't shown enough to get to top ten and Tomic like a child responds that Fed's tennis isn't near Novak's. Tomic 0-4 vs Federer and has taken 1 set of 12. Quiet, child.

Sharapova has basically quit. Just standing there and watching points go by. Combine that with Williams' normal hang dog demeanor and it's not exactly a scintillating match.

one of my most missed things about watching tennis is listening to that old fuck whine about things not being "proper" or whatever term he wants to use to lament the fact that the sport is no longer played in oxford sweaters and at an excruciatingly boring pace or in a predictable way(clay and grass, respectively, in the old days). the game is much more exciting these days, you get insane 30 shot rallies with incredibly athletic shots being hit left and right, but sometimes the players grunt when they exert that force required for the athleticism so it's a detriment to the game. some of the ladies take it too far, but i would routinely grunt on some shots during the end of my matches when i was playing in HS(on the worst team in PA*). i know the ladies overdo it(esp Sharapova), but i can't even imagine how much effort these players put into their shots and then do it every other day for 2 weeks.

* not official, but we didn't win a match in the 3 years i played so we appropriated it.
I like teh waether

He is on another level. Would have loved to see him versus Nadal versus Fed all in their primes.
