Incredible streak ended today.

Roger Federer had made 36 straight quarterfinal appearances at Grand Slams.

really don't know if anyone will come close to this ever again. staying healthy enough to play in every grand slam for 9 straight years is amazing enough. making the QF in all of them is unthinkable.

Down goes Serena. Lost 4 straight games after being up 4-2 in the 3rd set.

Sloane Stephens advanced.

Very Surprising. This could be Sloane's chance to win a major with some of the big dogs out.

Thought this was pretty interesting. Given that I've probably only watched Grand Slams for 10 years, I didn't really know that courts were noticeably slower than in past eras.

All of the big dogs are out. Pretty much anyone can win at this point.

ferrer winning this match would be the worst thing possible for wimbledon. there is no way djokovic doesn't win this if del potro is out. murray could beat him, maybe; otherwise, no way he loses.

It appears to be destined to be Murray vs Djokovic no matter what. Del Potro's knee is being held together by tape.

And someone how he's still managing to handle Ferrer. Just lost a chance at $500 on Streakitup.com. FML.

Verdasco up two sets on Murray. Looking at a possible Verdasco/Janowicz semi.

delpo-djok in the midst of an awesome match. delpo saves two match points in the tiebreak and sends it to a fifth set.
