Feel like there were better candidates to DFA Over Garcia

I'm not getting much enjoyment out of watching these games. Might need to give it a rest for a while.

That is great news. I assume under the circumstances, it will be lowkey, but hopefully next year they will have a more proper celebration/honoring of the man when (hopefully) things get back to normal.

TBF Klentak has only had 5 years and 183 million dollar payroll

I’ve been more patient than others over the past few few years, but other than Harper (which seems like it was more Middleton and money than any actual GMing) what good moves has he made? Didi looks good so far, but it’s a SSS and he’s only on a 1 year deal

Totally agree. Signing Harper and trading for JT means you’re in a win now mode and we’re nowhere close to being able to win. Klentak has not been able to fill out the supporting pieces of the roster at all. I think since we went with a first time GM the last 2 times, we’ll hire a retread this time, hopefully more like Pat Gillick and less like Dave Dombrowski.

I think he was in a really tough spot, between the bareness of the cupboard and the pressure from the fans and Middleton.

That said, there just aren’t many positives or savvy moves to point to.

When should we start looking over the Yankees prospect list to see what we can get for Realmuto at the deadline?

I think Tyler Stephenson could be ready for a full-time role next year...oh wait we took Cornelious Randolph instead.

If that hasn't already started I'd be surprised. Well with Klentak maybe I wouldn't.

Not ideal, but you generally don't get an ideal job as a new GM. Others have done much more with much less.
