They deserved to lose after that first period but they got hosed on that goalie interference call.

Tampa Bay is really good. They expose and then exploit the weaknesses in their opponents. Actually this loss may have a silver lining in that it clearly shows Fletcher that this club is not a PO contender. Major moves need to be made.

Does losing to far and away the best team in the league indicate the Flyers aren't capable of making the playoffs?

Next two games are a better indicator, although getting the second WC probably would lead to a sweep.
