I read that they went with the monochrome look this year for the uniforms because the players are designing their own accessories (Harper apparently designed some cleats) so by having drab uniforms the other items stand out more.

Also, apparently the players can have emojis in their names on the backs of the jerseys

Watched most of the original "Bad News Bears" again the other night. Wonder how many people noticed the original mega happy ending is in the middle of the film

Kelly's HR is against the White Sox (red team) in the 3rd inning to break a scoreless tie, then it cuts to the dugout getting excited about an anticipated walkoff for some unknown reason, then as Kelly approaches the dugout after scoring the winning run, you see it was against the Yankees (1:38) and Buttermaker is bringing beers out to celebrate. It seems so out of place when you watch the movie. Test audiences said this ending didn't fit the general mood of the movie, so they changed it to Kelly being tagged out at the plate and the Bears losing.
