federer has djok in his quarter. real tough road for him. don't think he makes it to the semis. nadal has a pretty easy path to the finals.

i'll go with him on the men's side and bertens on the women's side.

armstrong has a retractable roof now and they will play night sessions there as well.

Crazy how Joker is the favorite now, he just handled Federer a couple of weeks ago. A few months ago it looked like he would never win another major.

the original thread was just the tennis thread. i didn't realize it was locked. i scanned the board thinking there must be a new one but didn't see any, so i made it the second tennis thread. wound up reading about the changes on armstrong for a while before submitting. certainly did not expect someone else to also creating a new tennis thread at the same time lol.

Federer was up 5-4 , serving for the second set after taking the first one 6-3, and seemingly in control. A bunch of unforced errors and struggles with his first serve later, and he's down 6-3, 5-7, 0-1

Now down 2 sets to 1 to Millman. Had three set points in the second set, and one in the tiebreaker for the third.

Damn, I know I posted that prediction of Nadal being shut out in the first set vs. Thiem somewhere, but now I can't find it.

thiem breaks to get the second set back on serve, gets broken to lose the set. serving for the third set, gets broken.

then gets broken again to lose the set. nadal will cruise in the fourth.

Thiems serve just isn't big enough to give Rafa problems like Fed or Joker.
