guys...relax. he'll resign in a day or two. no way he's going to let himself get fired and have the team say "conduct detrimental to the team." if he resigns he can easily say that he can't run the franchise correctly with all these rumors rolling about and that he's doing the team a service.

So in the meantime he's attending draft workouts?

Yup, him being at the work out is not a good sign at all. If they thought he was gone they wouldn't want him getting anymore knowledge about team plans.

The report was ownership was meeting last night, can't imagine they don't have all the details from the investigation at this point.

What's the benefit of resigning other than if the team somehow has a legal claim against him that they are willing to drop if he quits? If he quits now no way it's a Good Reason termination. If he gets canned they can fight about severance and they'll give him some $ at least in exchange for signing a release

I guess just as an update that he hasn't heard anything different from the earlier report that he could lose his job?

But yeah he generally posts articles that are longer versions of his tweets along with filler paragraphs that he literally uses word for word in articles over and over again.

First of all, I don't care for Sixers ownership. I fully resent their caving to the league on Hinkie and accepting Jerry Col rammed down their throats. Then, the nepotism of his son, who I never wanted here - do not think is the right guy for the job - nor an elite GM.

Add in now, that what would this do to team locker-room and overall culture and confidence in the org?

I realize it's being played out partly in the public arena. There are legal and financial layers to it all. But I just hope that it ends with him gone - and someone better qualified to massage this team in to a true title contender.

I was totally anti-lebron before - but I totally have changed my mind. If that can get it done, get it done. Lakers stole Kareem, Wilt and Shaw to win titles. Durant was OKC core - and now winning rings for GS. F it. Lebron went to Miami and did it. Why should I care. Will it be a circus? Yes. Can he hold up many more years? Not likely. But even 1 title would be a start. I don't think it will happen, I don't think he will select Phila., and I'm not sure he has it in him to bail on his home town again... but I'm good.

In the current NBA you have to be able to rain down some 3's. I just don't see a lot of low-post game anymore. That said, I'd like to Joel get better with the inside moves and use his size inside - it will open up a lot of stuff and if he gets more Moses/Olajuwon type moves - he'll be very difficult for teams to stop and the Sixers can control pacing too. I liked this team this year. I liked the end of the season run, and the playoffs and despite Ben having zero shot - it was fun. They have some nice pieces but they need more.

Frustrating how things played out with Fulz but he was what, 19? No way to know that young except in rare cases it they will be special. In theory the game he was supposed to have, we need - but man that kid on Celtics was a beast as a rook.

Let's get it right and assemble the right talent - the culture really got good this year. Get rid of the toxic GM.

nope, we need to save ourselves. Everyone should get on the phone and call the sixers, especially if you have purchased tickets. Call the radio stations, write emails to the TV stations. Make it impossible for them to keep him. If you have kids, tell them that you don't know how you'll explain this to them. Show the Sixers how messed up it is that they would consider keeping him.

I suppose I should also do it.
