Unless redick is coming back at 10-11 he can go elsewhere. You can’t bark at the young guys and just shit the bed when it matters all series . I honestly want no part of that dude going forward if it’s at what he can get from Brooklyn or another contender
Continued success, thanks for comin' on the show!

Oh and Boston didn't have 2 all NBA players in this series
Its disappointing

I'm more along these lines. This was a disappointing performance. It doesnt negate the strides the team made but it also highlights the many steps and decisions this team needs to make and they need to start nailing these next few critical decisions. No more missed opportunities.

as long as we have one-dimensional shooters, we're going to have problems.

boston ran a 7-man rotation and they were all athletes.

Or Fultz doesn't pan out & we miss on the top FAs. Barring lottery magic the process is over, the window is closed and we're back in playoff purgatory.

I like your side of the coin better.

Beyond that Embiid and/or Simmmons could just take a massive leap and swat away the Celtics with vigor.

I'm pretty confident Jerry's kid is adding a Name this summer. Just hope it isn't Derozen.

this season was great

there is still a huge potential for internal growth even if Fultz struggles and we stay the course. Embiid and Simmons are probably going to get a lot better and we have draft picks and cap space to supplement that. we're good

This series was disappointing to be sure but this really was almost the perfect season outside of the weird Fultz situation for us going forward... 52 wins, 3 seed, 2nd round of the playoffs, much national recognition... good enough season where, with our money, we should be able to have a shot at signing our choice of stars but not too good like an NBA Finals run where the organization could talk themselves into just needing to tweak things... I just hope they get a read on LeBron quickly so they can pursue other guys like PG13 or Kawhi if LeBron is going elsewhere...I actually wouldn't be shocked at a big trade with Fultz, Dario, or Cov and a couple guys from the Holmes, TLC, Korkmaz group with a pick or two... Bradley Beal, Kemba Walker?

The goal before the season was make the playoffs, even if it was just getting in as the 8 seed. Regardless of how it ended, it was a great season, one of the most fun I've had as a Sixers fan.

This offseason is interesting because it finally feels like it's BC's team. Beginning with this offseason, it will be strictly BC who will build the team for the next step in the process. Once the Lakers pick is drafted, the Hinkie era is over.

It'll be interesting to see what he does.

As DiM wrote, it's BC's team now. However, "interesting" is not the word I would have used. Be afraid, very afraid.

Although, the Hinkie era doesn't end until the cap space he created and preserved is used.

Great season; bad, bad series.

It was a good season but this is the feeling I would have had if the Eagles lost to the Falcons. Sometimes expectations change in season but still a good year overall.

Step 1 is next Tuesday's Draft Lottery. Just hoping that Lakers don't jump to 2 or 3 but stay at 10. Giving that Celtics team another 2 or 3 pick would be painful.

We might be next year with that Kings pick but they may trade it anyway.

It's certainly not an "interesting" off-season. It's the most important one in ages. BC has to get multiple stars in here. He's gotta get with the "connections" he has (MAN OF ACTION) and find out if PG or LeBron are considering coming here. Optimal scenario is to make a trade on draft night (Kawhi) then still have the cap space to sign one of them. Avery Bradley is no longer an option. It's whale season.

What could you get Derozen for? Gotta think it's pennies on the dollar because who has the ability to trade for that contract and who can actually give the raptors something halfway decent? We will consider that Plan C.

My thoughts:

1. I am not counting out Fultz. He flashed enough when he played. Yes, I am frustrated by whatever his situation is but he's got talent.

2. I am not trading any of the following: Embiid, Simmons, Saric, Fultz. Not sure I have many untouchables beyond that.

3. I think Paul George is the free agent that makes the most sense for this team by a long shot.

4. I'd like Redick back but on reduced money and reduced role. Same with Ilyasova.

5. Can I assume that Bolden makes the team next year?

6. Can Korkmasz replace Bellinelli?

7. Not sure what player in the draft makes the most sense but I'm thinking it might be Mikal Bridges.

My guesses:

5. If he comes over, yes, and I suspect he will, subject to what we might do in free agency.

6. I hope so and would like to think that's the plan. He may not be quite ready yet, but has more upside, especially on defense.

I would trade Fultz and/or Saric in the right package but there is so much opportunity cost that I hope BC is really cautious and only makes a slam dunk deal. I would be really loathe to trade those guys for Kawhi or another player with only a year left on their deal, for example. I'm sure BC's actual trade options are pretty different from all the stuff we're going to talk about. would pay a good chunk to know the details

regarding all of Redick, Ilyasova, and Bellinelli, if they can sign them to good, slightly under-market one-year deals, that's great. otherwise, let em go

Redick was 24th in 3pt shooting. Who can we get off this list?

there's something to be said for being a consistent three point shooter over a large volume of shots and long period of time. several of those guys don't rate above Redick for that.
