i saw some speculation on twitter last week that guys needed to be in camp by this past thursday to be ready for opening day. should be close enough, especially if nola is starting the opener.

Man, I'm just happy for Nola and the other starters. Plus the bullpen of course. Even if Jake trends down a bit, should give us a lot of innings. Knowing his turn is coming up will help if a couple of the young guys get bombed early in back-to-back games.

I fell for that dammit! In my defense, so did Jim Salisbury and NBC Sports Philly!

Sign Cobb and Holland too and slide in Eickhoff as the 4 and VV as the 5 with Pivetta and Lively as depth and Neris as the 8th inning guy while Neshek, Hunter, and Morgan handle the 7th
Even if you get run over by a clown car and pissed on by a busload of school children, it's still your responsibility to interpret the meaning of the event and choose a response

According to @baseball_ref ...

Current members of the Nationals have 158 career PA vs. Jake Arrieta. They’ve combined to hit one HR (by Daniel Murphy).

Bryce Harper, Ryan Zimmerman & Anthony Rendon vs. Arrieta: 62 PA, zero HR.

Coming for you, Nats
