Falcons are 0-6 when they score less than 20. 11-0 when they score more than 20.

In rewatching that game, I didn't think Jones looked spry, and it looked like he got nicked up at the end. He's gonna make plays but I think Mills can hold up against him. Would be nice to focus the safeties on the run game.

Jones is definitely banged up and Atlanta has been in playoff mode for a long time now. Just hope the Eagles come out ready and not slow like they did after their bye week earlier this year. They might be able to physically wear Atlanta down later in the game.

I’m considering betting on the eagles. Everyone’s negativity is making me more optimistic

Getting off to a great start will be huge. Atlanta has played Minnesota, four consecutive division games to get into the playoffs, a trip out west to beat LA, a trip all the way back, and now a trip up to the cold where Matt Ryan and the team usually doesn't play well...their only win coming in the 2012 4-12 Big Red death season.

Bears hiring KC OC Matt Nagy is a glimmer of hope for keeping DeFilippo. He can also leave this year to be an OC, correct?

I don’t know how to look up historical betting lines, but I’d think the 2007-08 Giants probably weren’t favored in their matchups.

Atlanta finished the season ranked 22 in defensive dvoa and 9th in offense. Eagles need to play good defense and grind out some points. We got this.

When Lurie blocked him last year I wondered about Flip becoming our OC for the 2018 season. Not sure how feasible that is with Reich here, though, and would think Flip could get more autonomy and a clearer path to head coach elsewhere

Games all about turnovers I think. FALCS are a low takeaway team this year but they take care of the ball pretty well. They are good on 3rd down and pass protect pretty well but just mediocre in RZ. If we tee them up some turnovers, will be tough to win.

Was a completely clean hit, Dawkins hit Crumpler in the chest with his shoulder.

Don't see what's dirty about it

FALCS also don't play a ton of tempo. They play the majority of their snaps from under center. Over 80% of their rush attempts come with QB under center (they are also more efficient passing the ball when QB is under center, presumably due to play action). Key is going to be getting matty in shotgun, known passing situations (his INT and sack rates go way up in those spots vs snaps under center)

Yeah I never got the real hype of this play, it was a huge falcons play and I’m pretty sure they scored on the next play when Dunn walked in from the 10, its a hard hit but it’s also the falcons best play of the game
