Eagles ran all over Atlanta last year (208 yards) without Lane. Forgot about his suspension. Think we might have something here if Foles can just make a few throws early

or use the tried and true run at them, dump some 5 yard passes, run some more, try a big play, then punch it up the gut. I think that Corey Clement is going to be invaluable this weekend as a different setting on the grinder. He will also be really excited to be in a playoff game for his childhood favorite team. Just keep ATL from getting comfortable.

did i hear right that jay a is the only rb to put up 100 on the falcos this year?

In the regular season - Gurley just put up 101. They had several games of 75+ (didn't look at second carriers) and gave up huge games on the ground to Cam and Wilson.

So Carr's performance is because of the cold, but Foles' performance in the same game isn't?? Looks like Saturday's game will start with the temp in the low 50's or high 40s.

Carr is historically awful in the cold. I don't know of any such trend in St. Nick's career. I'm just saying, I'm not willing to feel any comfort in making a comparison between the two.

Are people still trying to feel better about Foles? Just stop. He's awful. Just pray for the defense to have a monster game and limits Atlanta to less than 13 pts.

Seriously if you think they are going to lose just stop posting here, don't need more negativity at this point. We get it, Foles isn't very good, especially compared to Wentz. Don't need to hear it 10 different ways everyday.

i have a lot of FAITH in Dug to get the most out of Foles. Dude seems to be some sort of idiot savant when it comes to putting players in a position to succeed.

I'm confident we will win. I think we're a better team than the Falcons, and outside of bad-Cam Panthers (which they weren't Sunday), I think they're the team we match up the best against. Jones is hobbled, but a threat. I can see us giving up a lot of big plays, but holding them to field goals and winning an ugly game 17-10 or 24-17.

Heck, I've even convinced myself that we could get into a slogfest against the Vikings and win that game too. The Saints and the Rams were the only two teams that truly terrified me.

Not at all, but for some to come in here everyday and shoot down any optimism left by saying the same "Foles Sucks" comments really puts a damper on what has been a great season, even if it is true. I think everyone in the world realizes Foles has a good chance to make us lose this game outright where we are probably 4 point favorites with Wentz. It's not really groundbreaking analysis.

If Nick is goodish I think we win by 10 points. Wouldn't be surprised if we could still squeak out an ugly win with bad Nick.
