Despised the Bears for YEARS afterwards, but the 2001 playoff win in the last game at old Soldier Field helped to heal that wound. And anyway, if that Eagles team had beaten the Bears, was there any chance they were beating the 49ers and Joe Montana the next week? I don’t think so.

I was 7 years old so I didn't understand the NFL landscape at the time. All I knew was that IT WASN'T FAIR. I definitely cried. It was my first sports heartbreak.

What’s Curry’s cap hit? Can they restructure some deals by that point to stay under? I wonder if some guys on the team would be willing to move things around to stay/keep the crew together.

I hate to say it but dropping Jason Peters saves like 8m alone I think.

Pretty sure it is back loaded, he needs to be traded or cut. 11 million next year, 11.25 in 2019 and 2020 is what Spotrac says.

Doug said gun to his head Peters is their starting LT but I know that isn't concrete but he said Peters is an all pro LT and they don't grow on trees.

FWIW really bad LT’s don’t grow on trees either.

I would trade Curry for a mid round pick if possible, cut Torrey and hope Celek retires. Unless Torrey is someone that would be attractive in a trade.

Looks like Donnie Jones would be about a 1.4 million savings.

Potentially could lose both Reich (Colts) and Flip (Vikings OC) now, thanks to fucking McDaniels
