Guthrie signed with the Phillies yesterday.
Today (7/7) at 5PM is the deadline to sign draft picks. I think the Phillies are probably done at this point. They are already into the surtax range and don't have much left before they are in the penalty.

He certainly looks happy. HS SS/RHP drafted as a 3B. His write ups are essentially 'all the tools for an 18 year old'. At 39 he was obviously a flier, os it will be interesting to see what happens with him.
