I just can't imagine a deal where Vegas doesn't overpay so if Hextall makes the move it will be a good one. That MacDonald money could lead to more things to happen.

We have a solid pipeline of goalie prospects, do not like this.

Yup, there was no way the Flyers would have (cheaply) gotten the 1C to replace Claude without this pick. Don't overthink it. It would have to be highway robbery for me to swallow a move down.

I agree with BigEd and eem. I'd take Patrick and be thankful.

There have been rumors that LV is trying do a deal with NJ as well. Bunch of picks and players for the #1. The Asst GM with LV had NP at Brandon and would like to acquire him. There 's no reason for the Flyers to move back. They have no cap issues or lack of prospect depth. What they need is a young top line center which NP or Nico is. Can't see a move down happening.
