Hoffman went crazy on the back 9 and has a 5-stroke lead over Tiger at -12; Tiger at -7 after a one-over second nine. Speith in second at -10.

I don't want to get my hopes up but am. He seems like him. Or what you'd expect.

Oh well, Tiger's comeback was nice while it lasted.

Isn't this what happened last year. Hopefully no injury but he has been pretty bad today.

Hasn't played three consecutive competitive rounds for quite some time. My guess is his old-ish body is quite tired.

I kid. He tied for the third worst round of the day, and i don't think anyone's suggesting Henrik Stenson or Dustin Johnson hang it up. Here's hoping he comes back stong tomorrow.

His body language looked awful, but hard to tell whether it was pain, fatigue, or just dejection.

I saw his last seven holes or so, he hit some really nice shots and didn't appear to be in pain.

It's a process. Consistency is really hard at this level. Dustin Johnson was over part today.

Reports of Woods' death may have been greatly exaggerated.

Fowler wins it with a course record 61 on Sunday. 61!! Included birdies on his first 7 holes and 8 of the first 9. Won by 4 strokes over Hoffman, who shot par. Woods was 4 under, would have been in contention for second without the lousy Saturday.
