If anyone gets to 9-under (unlikely now) Speith misses the cut I think. He's T-46 now 11 strokes back.
I think Matsuyama will run away and hide over the weekend. He's long enough to win here and is the only player at the top of the leaderboard who has the pedigree and is in form this year.
It really is a test for Matsuyama--he's #1 in the world right now, and given the guys near the top of the leaderboard he ought to be able to close this one out and win a major if he's going to be in the Speith/Rory conversation.
