Dude went from being labeled a choker in majors to nails in 4 holes. Huge stuff.

I bet he goes on a Tiger-like run now. Amazing that at this age he has had the lead in 13 majors and Tiger only had 7 leads. Tiger buried them though.

He is getting there. Going to be fun watching him.

Would love a rivalry between him and Rory. Both can be the best in the world. Need some more consistency.

It's hard to compare, but I think the golfers we are seeing now are much tougher than Tiger had to face. So many good golfers out there.

Yeah it is definitely not a fair comparison on either end. I think a big part of the reason why there is so many talented young golfers is because of Tiger making golf cool when he did. He was the biggest superstar in American sports.

On the nose comment. Hope Spieth can do the same for today's younger generation. Golf as a business is struggling right now (in terms of local courses and equipment sales). Part of that is no Tiger-like star.

His ability to hole long putts is completely amazing. Also, he seems adamant that he doesn't need to change his swing (unlike Tiger) and I think you'll see him fighting himself at times. Pretty amazing he was able to make bogey on 13 and I am sure Kuchar is kicking himself he wasn't able to hole his birdie putt.

#1 in scoring average, #4 in strokes gained, #1 in strokes gained approaching the green, #3 in proximity to hole, #37 in strokes gained putting, #1 in birdie average, #4 in bounce back.

he's totally competent off the tee, is the best iron player in the game, and just makes buckets. sure he doesn't bomb it like DJ or Rory but man, he is fun to watch.

flipped the tv on and fs1 was on. women's amatuer semis match play or something is going on. 19th hole all square, girl misses a long putt for birdie, other girl has a short putt for birdie to go to the final, misses it, pulls it back to reputt it. other girl is like, "i didn't concede that yet, but i would have" and the rules committee says you can't concede after the fact and that ends the match.

PGA Championship moving to May in 2019 and beyond. Allows playoffs to end on or before labor day weekend. Like it.

Also helps with the weather.

Catching a break this week with overcast forecast. I'm going Friday.

They're over 4 months now instead of the US/British/PGA being within 6 or 7 weeks of each other. Last year the US Open started June 16, Open Champ July 14, PGA July 28.

Now it'll be

March - Players (it's moving)
April - Masters
May - PGA
June - US Open
July - British
August - Playoffs
Sept - Ryder/Presidents

i think they would've just assumed she conceded and moved on to the next hole. i think it was definitely a calculated move.

Probably good news for Arizona getting a major. May is fine.
