he has resumed 'basketball activities' and the season is 5 months longer. he better be fully healed by the last month of the season!

Yeah he rebroke his bone last May don't see any reason why he wouldn't be able to come back quicker the second time he broke the same bone <_<

Yeah, that's how I feel.

hope he plays. let the legend begin

that plus it has the potential to be a very positive way to end the season. it would be nice to go into the offseason with a good vibe.

Looks like he's being coached by Fred Mertz there.

Brett "I'm very very confident we'll see a healthy Joel Embiid soon"

Clarified that he didn't mean this season. Uhhh Brett....
Two days later I get a text back that says I'm a basketball player and a businessman, not a Thundercat.

Not impressive, he hit the back rim. Needs to be clean next time.

Any talk of 2016 in Philly sports should start with this positive thought... the majority of the following will make their Philly big 4 pro debuts in 2016-

Joel Embiid
Dario Saric
Ben Simmons/Brandon Ingram
Ivan Provorov
Travis Sanheim
Travis Konecny
JP Crawford
Nick Williams
Jake Thompson
Mark Appel
Andrew Knapp
Jorge Alfaro
Roman Quinn
Vincent Velasquez
Whomever the Eagles pick 13th

Good times ahead!

Brown at today's practice:

“I think we all sort of can dream a little bit when you look over here [at Embiid draining threes]. That’s a very, very different player.”

“I think everybody sort of sees more of him for a reason. We think he’s heading in a really, really positive direction, both physically and mentally. We’re going at a pace that we’re all happy with. We understand how crucial it is that we don’t miss a beat and he does, too.”

“That is very unique to see a 7-foot-2 man have the touch and the form and the release of his wrists. If you watch the strength of his wrists, that thing comes off easy. [/PiP] That is just really special.”

“Trying to pair up these bigs is so challenging, and he is our best shooter out of the three bigs. We all talk how we have to put people where they can do well, where they can succeed, and if this ends up being something he can do well ... then we have to tap into that.”
