Watching the Bucs-Reds, Russell Martin gets called for blocking the plate on a FORCE PLAY! Had one foot on the plate, reached into foul territory for the throw, runner slides in late and is called out initially. Crew chief review(not a "challenge"), and the geniuses in New York call him safe.

This is more fucked up than the transfer rule.

Why don't they just declare all runners safe who try to score? That way there won't be any chance of any injury. In fact, they should probably just run computer simulations of games with the players in separate buildings so they won't offend each other if they have bad breath or fart.

ausmus made a dumb comment yesterday about going home to beat his wife when asked about the tigers recent woes. it was idiotic and he immediately realized it and apologized.
