Jerry can fire Captain Cupcake......or not.
He can send Garrett with him, too......or not.
It just doesn't matter, folks. It's all just a moving shell game.
Jerry Jones quite simply lacks the integrity to make the only move that really matters, and that's stepping away from the team as GM.
It just isn't going to happen, so we'll churn the roster and the coaching staff and talk about it ad nauseum, but in the end, it won't matter.
Jerry is the problem; we all know it. He even knows it.
Teams just don't work with this structure. Businesses don't work with this structure. Governments don't work with this structure. Gorilla colonies in the Congo don't work with this structure.
This is the lowest point in Cowboys history. The Cowboys aren't even the Cowboys anymore. The star carries no meaning. The excellence is a distant, faded memory. Even the the fan base has turned over into a bunch of know-nothings who've never seen more than a wild card playoff win in their lifetimes.
My allegiance is to a team that doesn't exist anymore. It's been hijacked by the NFL's version of Fidel Castro.
Fifty years ago, Cuba was a vacation destination. And 15 years ago, the Cowboys were America's Team.
Not anymore.

I guess this gives Dallas a bit of a boost on Sunday, but if the Giants lose to Dallas, it will be self inflicted wounds not Dallas playing out of their minds. On the whole I'm happy so my hate can again reign unfettered.
