That's a CUPCAKE?

I thought "Woody" was marinating in a wooden barrel of pink goo.

accuweather shows 31% chance of precipitation between 7 & 10, 20% after. But hour by hour doesn't show any, just mostly cloudy.

We want one more delay so Hamels can come back for game 7*, right?

Fire up the NJ Transit train. Leaving work early and back to Philly I go.

This World Series might get me fired.

Philadelphia, Pa. – October 28, 2008 – The Philadelphia 76ers have officially moved the start of their home opener to 6 p.m. and now the team is inviting baseball fans to see the Sixers and Toronto Raptors in the 2008-09 season opener at the Wachovia Center with a special half-priced ticket offer.

Baseball fans attending Game Five of the World Series can bring their game ticket to the Wachovia Center box office on Wednesday, October 29, and purchase a half-priced ticket for the home opener. Ticket must be presented at the Wachovia Center box office at time of purchase.

"Philadelphia has the best sports fans anywhere in the world," said Senior Vice President of Business Operations Lara Price. "What a great way for Philadelphia to get together and celebrate the start of the Sixers season and to also get ready for the World Series."

"I tell all kids not to use that word. If they're 29 and they win the World Series, I think they can say that.
But I definitely would say to all the kids out there, 'Kids, it's a bad word. Don't say it. And I'm dead serious.' "

I just received an e-mail from Shore:

Saw the Rays boarding the team buses.

I gave Upton the finger.

This has probably been said here, but we need some kind of Philly public service announcement tonight urging the fans to get completely sheep shit.

It's the final 3+ innings of baseball in Philly...the last chance for us to applaud this squad in person...and we need to get in the Rays' relievers heads right from pitch one.
