LOS ANGELES -- The losingest team in pro sports history was soaked in champagne and whooping it up Wednesday night.

A bit late to the party -- I've been off the grid since Monday pretty much -- but just wanted to get my 2cents in on a collective high-5 to all you knuckleheads! It's really an amazing sensation to be able to say, "The Phils are going to the World Series", after all the discussions all the game threads, all the years, all the coulda woulda shoulda, it's still a really BIG DEAL. Still gotta win it. But for the moment, it's a great great feeling. I really can't beleive 93 was 15 years ago? Man time flys by ... so soak this up yungins, cause you will want to cherish it. I remember the agony I felt in 77 and 78 and this belated restitution couldn't have come at a better time!
