I just got back from partying with the mob on Broad Street.

Absolutely insane. It started with a huge party that spanned all of the Temple campus, and ended up with a mob heading toward City Hall.

One of the greatest nights of my life, no doubt about it.

i'm still so drunk and HEYY HOLY FUCK WE FUCKIN' DID IT

i talked to my dad immediately afterward, then walked with my Philly-based buddies to a legit cheesesteak place in State College, high fived everyone who resembled a Phils fan on the wait for the steaks, then ended it all at the bar i work at.

OH MY GOD WE FRIGGIN' DID IT

HOW SWEET IT IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After the eighth, got a call from my brother, who just got off work and arrived in Manayunk. So I took off, made it from Plymouth Meeting to Main Street in about 11 minutes. Just walked in to the US Hotel at Nomar's first pitch.

YEAH BABY!!!!! BEAUTILFUL NIGHT !!!!!!

I pretty much agree with the consensus....all in all, from the team to Harry to the crowd on Main Street, much calmer than I would have guessed. WAITING FOR THE BIG ONE BABY!!!!!

And, of course, Nomar is the one in focus there.

Thats Kim Batiste... Charlie Hayes was not on the 93 team. Ive actually heard that mistake made multiple times in the last year, I wonder why he is always associated with that team. He was a Phil from 89-91, after stints with NYY and COL, he was a Phil again for one year in 95. 93 with the Rockies was his best statistical year thou... 305 avg, 25 hr, 98 rbi, 11 sb
Its not so much me as it is Roenick... he's good. --swingers

You should practice this when I am not here. --swingers

Made it into work. Wearin' the shirt. They played the rocky theme tune.

Probably still drunk.

Wait, we went through that whole thing and no one made a 'hanging chad' joke once?

I was watching Fox morning show a few minutes ago, and saw the footage. There were fans there, but they couldn't see who was getting off the plane, because it was about 100 yards away from where they gathered (according to Fox, I didn't see a crowd shot). Saw Burrell, Utley, and Hamels with their wives. Howard and Victorino were stag.
