I come on here every day, many times a day to read up on the Phils and enjoy the witty banter. I follow all the games here as I am in Mets country and don't get many on TV.
I finally signed up today to ask you to please ban viper. He makes me sad.
New Brunswick eh? Ever go to Tumultys?
Didn't see this earlier. Yep, been there many times in my school years. Sadly, the food has gone down hill. I mean Charlie Brown's bad.
I probably saw you there. I was a regular from 1990 until 1997. Met my wife there. Had our engagement party there. Had my daughter's Christening party there. She was a bartender on Wed/Fri nights through much of nineties.
Sad the food's gone down hill. I know it got a lot more "upscale", with higher prices to match.
George Street has completely changed. Every restaurant coming in is a once a year special treat type of place. $100 for a couple easy. Some of them are outstanding but this is a college town. I'd love just a simple Thai, Indian or Sushi place or just a good cheap burger that isn't $16.

I certainly remember when that was starting--I knew Francis, one of the owners at Stage Left, and when it was just starting out, he treated us really well--we'd hang out at the bar after my wife (thought we weren't married at the time) finished her shift at Tumulty's. Later, we went there for a 2nd or 3rd anniversary or something, and he was like, oh, hi, and then went to talking to some big shot.

He owns a number of restaurants now. I'm on the Zoning Board here and we passed a new sign for his place.
