First time I am available to post since mid-game yesterday. I had to hit the road to meet some friends in New Brunswick, NJ. We're a bunch of Rutgers alumni an meet semi-annually for a bar-crawl there. So I heard the clinching while driving up the NJ Turnpike. I got all tense as the bases were loaded. Then I think I may have helped will them to a double-play. I got a little teary-eyed as I got to exit 9 and payed the toll. Then I saw the replay later in the bars. I wore another shirt over my Phillies/Moyer tee so I didn't get punched out by gangs of drunken Mets fans, but when none seemed to be around I would unbutton it and be proud. It was funny, more than one of the people present independently thought one of my friends looks like Joe Blanton (though the friend is a little better looking and not as fat. No, I don't have pics.)

The atmosphere was electric. I was in the mid-tier in Right field. For those at the game, I was two rows behind the dude with his head painted as a baseball who was on the 'tron about 6 times. My 3 y.o. made an appearance behind his head in one of the shots.

I about lost my voice shouting and celebrating. I think we left the bank about 8:15. One over priced NLCS hat on my head (saw them at Model's for $11 less the next morning). What a game!
