kind of hilarious that a few days ago everyone was bugging out about how Embiid got hurt and it was gonna shake up the whole draft so much and now everyone is just "fuck it I'd take Embiid at 1 anyway"

I would say he will make the transition out to the perimeter with the same success as well as two other mid major phenoms, majerle and sczcerbiak.

majerle was a way different player though IMO. athletic 3 and D type, 2/3 tweener and not 3/4

ELLIOT SHORR PARKS thinks that James Young is a potential target at 10?

What do we think of that? That seems way higher than anywhere else I've seen him slotted in mocks
Continued success, thanks for comin' on the show!

He's my number one and was hoping the back issues scared others off so he would fall to 3. But the foot issues just scare the plain crap out of me, so much that if I don't think exum can be a legit nba all-star in the future, I might even think about trading down a couple of spots and get an extra pick. Maybe after a lot of talk with doctors, I use that pick or even the possibility of picking up that 7 for him. If he is still there at 10, it's a no brainer. But I think he actually goes 7-9.

You also have to wonder how many execs feel the same way about him. Picking him could very well be a career killer. Granted there is a small sample size, but 7 footers don't seem to respond well to foot injuries. Harris is a hands off owner, but does the Bynum fiasco come into play a bit or does it demonstrate the importance of getting full medical reports first?

Yeah more athletic, but still questions regarding lateral quickness and adjusting to the wing defensively when he was primarily a 5 in college.

Dreamed of that same scenario. Ray Allen is going where ever LeBron goes so add him to the list. He's cooked but I'm sure he can teach Nik S some tricks.

Cavs have offered to send a private jet to NY to pick up Dante Exum for workout in Cleveland, source said.Exum still undecided if he is going

Katz has it too

In the past, prospects have interviewed and worked out for teams 24 hours before or even the day of the draft, but it would be unlikely Exum would make the trip to Cleveland without an assurance there is a deal in place for the Cavaliers to take him.

If the draft order stays as is, and Parker and Wiggins go in the top two picks, Exum likely will go at No. 3 to Philadelphia or No. 4 to Orlando.

The potential curveball would be if injured former Kansas center Joel Embiid, who was projected to go No. 1 before having surgery to repair a stress fracture in his right foot, is back in the picture for the Sixers at No. 3 or the Magic at No. 4.
