are we sure larry didn't embrace the 3? That always seemed like a big part of our offenses.

looking back... i don't think there is another coach that could even come close to repeating what he did with iverson. it was so out of the box and probably will never be repeated. he really threw everything out the door for both the "play the right way" and the "statistical" community alike offensively.

Bc it's still SMU. A bit less glamorous than the NBA.

Nothing matters to me except LB won't play the young guys just like DC, so do not want.

I'm going to be disappointed if George Karl isn't the next Sixers head coach

I don't know. Karl strikes me as a good coach that gets his players to play for him, but he gets so so results in the playoffs and is getting up there in age.

Look at coaches that made the conference finals: Pop, Vogel, Spoelstra, and Hollins have each only been the head coach of their respective teams. Even guys from last year's conference finals (Brooks and Thibs) have only coached their teams.

The only recent championship winning retreads who had never won a championship with a prior team that I can think of are Carlisle and Brown.

Doc Rivers

we're not really talking championship, though, are we? I think he emphasizes a lot of smart stuff for a young team (Denver were youngest in the league last year, I think) and actually enjoys playing/teaching those young guys
