Analysis: Zeller will start showing off his hitherto unseen 3-point jumper to teams in workouts starting this week. What I saw in Santa Monica was impressive, but shooting it in an empty gym and doing it in games are two different things. If the GMs working out Zeller think he's going to make a seamless transition to the four, he's probably gone before he reaches the Sixers. But if he isn't, he's a great fit in a depleted Philly frontcourt and could be a real steal for the Sixers. I'm hearing Saric is another real possibility here.

He does. Larry hasn't been an effective coach for ten years. He coached in what's essentially an entirely different league than the one today.
LB was an effective coach. He is not now. Much like Doug Collins, actually. And the rest of the league agrees, which is why he's coaching at SMU and Vinny Del Negro was coaching a playoff team.

He got the Bobcats to 44-38 in 09-10... He doesn't coach right now in the NBA because he is 72 and difficult to get along with. He doesn't embrace the three ball like he should, but he had the Bobcats at 44 wins three years ago. And he was in the finals eight years ago...
The Brooklyn Nets and the Philadelphia 76ers have both “contacted” SMU coach Larry Brown about their coaching openings, a source close to Brown told SNY.tv.
