I'd consider moving Thad for the right deal.

Gargano is considering revoking his sixers fandom because he hates numbers so much. It's kind of amazing to me that grown ass men are that unwilling to learn even basic facts about what analytics involves.

Why? Sports is the domain of the dumb jock. Morons like Gargano pander to a base of fellow morons.

Any sort of intellectual discourse that actually involved analytics, metrics and the like is anathema to goons like Gargano.

It's middle school nonsense. MacNow followed up that tirade by suggesting that when the owners bail they'll move the franchise and then we can start from scratch.

MacNow is terrible.

They need some house cleaning at WIP ... Mac n Mac years ago Glen and Jody Mac -- those guys need to be out to pasture....

Barkann and Ike are tolerable, not particularly insightful, just fans on the air. Ike is surprisingly uninsightful for an ex-player...and occasionally is whack. Also, it came out he's a born again and that made it a lot harder to take him seriously about anything.

Gargano is real fan and at times he's ok but the aversion to analytics is retarded.

Ray Diddy is useless and offers VERY little. Sonny Hill's shtick is tired. Eskin even on saturday is one slot too many. Hollis Thomas is annoying in his manner and won't really disclose too much either though he's let a few things (real info) slip a few times about Reid and Jim Johnson, etc...

Rob Charry is annoying and Rob Ellis knows some stuff but hate his voice and persona. Cataldo needs to take a page out of his own desire to get rid of Amaro and Cholly, and shoot himself.

WIP blows... Missanelli blows too

John Kincade down in Atl for CBS sports radio, he was a member of my old Eagles group that goes back to 93-94 - he joined maybe in late 90's and he was a weaker member. I deserve air time before that know-nothing...

John Kincaide suggested Halladay was only good because he took steroids and he's hurt because he stopped taking them. He can die a torture porn death.

he's actually a pretty good athlete. Seems like a lot of people just assume he's a terrible athlete for some reason (we all know the reason). I wouldn't hate it though. You aren't getting a special player regardless. He could be servicable

I dont think he is a bad athlete, he rim runs pretty well. He did well on the athletic tests at the combine. I don't see him adding the bulk needed at center, he has short arms, not a good rebounder, I'm worried he won't be able to score in the NBA. Lots of question marks on him with relatively limited upside..

Agreed. If his combine results are any indication he's a terrific athlete. But, from everything I'm hearing, he wants to be a face-up 4 in the NBA. Considering that there are serious questions about his perimeter game, I'm dubious. Yes, it's unlikely you're going to get anyone special at 11, but it's not impossible. IMO, you've got a better chance to get lucky with either Caldwell-Pope or Adams, plus they play positions of real need for the Sixers.

and we have gotten solid players in the middle of the round before (jrue, thad, vucevic). not that those guys are special but it is possible to get solid pieces where we are picking. zeller doesnt seem to be that.
