Yeah, I really like Dorrell Wright and was excited when they got him. Of all the many disappointments of last year, how DC consistently put him in a position to fail was one of the biggest.

Hope he gets a chance to succeed here and we don't just dump him for nothing

he's a FA yeah

wouldn't be too surprised if he's back since Hinkie should value him some and his stock isn't at an alltime high after last year

If we get Noel, we can have another year where our "franchise center" is completely shut down.

Maybe Stern will reward us for what happened with Bynum.

Re-sign Bynum. Maybe they'll have two good legs between them.

if we had tanked a little harder we'd have an 8% shot at a top three pick

Tie their bad legs together and let them play like it's a 3-legged race. I'd take that over Hawes.

since I pretty much think Bynum is gone, I wonder if there's any chance we use our cap space to get some more picks, for this year or, even better, next

that would make the Hinkie hire the biggest bait and switch since that time we traded for Andrew Bynum and he never played for us

If they don't re-sign Bynum, that's exactly what I'd like to see them do with the cap space this year. Take on an expiring from somebody looking to get into the Dwight sweepstakes, and try to get a pick with very limited protections on it next year, similar to the Raptors pick from the Kyle Lowry trade with hopes that they lose the Dwight sweepstakes. Given that our new fearless non-basketball guy leader was an architect of that trade, I think that's entirely possible.

Maybe we can sneek in the Dwight sweepstakes by hiring either Chuck Person which according to the article was a Howard confidant on the Lakers last year or Steve Clifford who has coached Howard in Orlando and in LA last year?
