he just sounds like a demarcus cousins 2.0. lots of talent, no brain. feel like most everyone here has lambasted cousins.

just kidding CBalls I love you. I can understand taking notes from former teammates and coaches into account, but your anecdotal stories don't really do it for me. Seems like a pretty run of the mill life for someone who knows he's an NBA player.

Kids been that way his whole life. He knew he was NBA bound and his attitude never changed from it since he was little. Always lived the "NBA lifestyle". (Cars cash women).

doesn't mean he can't be a good player but it's not like the things Calvin mentioned aren't negative attributes

He doesn't pass, didn't shoot very well at college level, overweight out of shape, oft injured. Very quick to shut it down when he isn't involved.

No thanks, and I rep Vegas ballers to the fullest, still. No thanks.

The mocks have us taking Zeller at 11, but I think that's just lazy analysis. Zeller does nothing for us. He's just another not-quite-good-enough big.

Assuming we stay at 11, my new hopes are either Caldwell-Pope, who might be available and would be a great fit at the 2 or, as a dark horse big, Steven Adams, who is apparently lighting up the combine. He's got the size, is an excellent rebounder and is apparently wowing everyone with his offensive skills. He's a guy who could make a lot more of a difference than Zeller.

That's why I don't want the Sixers to draft him, WGAFF about getting free stuff and being a dick off the court

A lot of great players were huge dicks off the court including the 3 best Sixers of my lifetime... Dr J, Barkley, and Iverson......good thing there weren't any "ties" with a nice guy off the court then

let's act like there are no NBA teams that consider character when they select players for their teams

seems like a lot of times teams weigh the risk and the talent is too much to pass up even if a player has hangups. always entertaining stuff

He'd like it. It's about a guy with lots of money but no apparent profession.

Archie Goodwin is probably the most intriguing plausible target for me. 18 years old, 6'4 with a 6'10 wingspan, great athlete. Inconsistent but still productive on a pretty dysfunctional KY team. Should have potential to guard both 1s and 2s, and seems to have more upside in terms of age/tools than most of the other guys we'd be looking at. Pair him with Jrue and you have a pretty intriguing two-way backcourt

As an aside, watching playoffs this year makes me value long players who can guard multiple positions and knock down open shots. Ie, Barnes, Jeff Green, Leonard, Shumpert (though he can't really shoot). And on the star level, George, Wade, LeBron. Maybe Goodwin has that potential as a combo defender

Meant Danny Green in the above post. Although I hate his face. I guess Klay Thompson also fits that category, can guard 2s and 3s
